쌍방향 소설인데 선택지는 단 하나다. 진행 속도가 심각하게 느리다. 지루하다. 영어를 모르면 당연히 스토리를 제대로 알 수가 없다. 엔딩만 보면 도전과제 올클리어가 되는 건 좋다. 딱 그 점만 좋다. 아, 그러니까 하고 싶은 말이 뭐냐고? 지루함 밖에 느낄 수 없는 게임(이 맞긴 맞나?) 이란 소리다.

소설, 영화, 연극과는 다른 재미, 하지만 넘어서진 못했다. 장점 +39계단 원작 소설을 어드벤처 노벨로 재현 +다양한 사운드가 나쁘지 않은 몰입감을 부여 단점 -너무 느린 템포 -의미없는 수색, 선택지 파트 주의점 영화 혹은 소설을 보시는 것이 났습니다. 이런 분들에게 추천합니다. 존 버컨 작가(전 캐나다 총독)의 팬이신 분 모든 종류의 39계단 미디어를 보셔야 하시는 분 이런 분들에게 비추천합니다. 이미 히치콕 감독의 영화 39계단을 보신 분 소설, 영화, 연극중 하나라도 보실 생각이 있으신 분

동명의 원작 소설을 기반으로 제작된 그래픽 노블에 가까운 게임입니다. 개인적인 선택에 의한 이야기 전개 변화는 없으며, 플레이어가 할 일은 단순히 물건을 찾고 배경을 감상하며, 스토리에 빠져들면 됩니다. 동명의 영화도 있습니다. (히치콕 감독/1935년작) 삽화가 아름답고 중간중간 컷신이 재미난 게임입니다. 한글화는 되어있지 않으나, 어렵지 않은 영어로 플레이하는데 큰 지장이 없을 듯합니다.

동명의 원작 소설을 비주얼 노벨화한 작품 . 플레이어는 그냥 나오는 텍스트를 읽고 선택지도 없이 정해진 루트를 가기만 하면 된다. 이런 수동적인 진행이 따분하긴 하지만 진행만하면 거저 생기는 20개의 도전과제와 책을 싫어하는 사람들에게 조금이나마 접하기 쉽게 게임화 시켰다는거에 의미를 두고싶다 . 도과쟁이들에겐 필구 품목이다. 6 / 10
