분명히 재미있어 보이고 몰입도가 좋았지만 영알못인 저한테는 너무 어려운 작품입니다...나중에 한국어 패치 나오면 그땐 다시 해볼생각이에요. 그리고 생각치도 못하게 프레임드랍이 심합니다. 예를들면 처음씬에서는 160정도 유지되던 프레임이 스테이지에 들어서자 마자 30까지 꺾이는 그런 최적화여서 나중에 최적화와 한국어만 나온다면 정말로 분위기가 좋은게임일거라고 생각합니다.

게임 너무너무 하고 싶은데 계속 버벅거려서 계단 하나 오르는데 20분 썼다. 진짜 못하겠다. 내 노트북 문제인지는 모르겠는데 와 진짜 에바임 딕-딕-딕- 움직이는데 한국인인 나로써는 환장할 부분!! 게임 너무너무 하고 싶은데 프레임 에바야 진짜ㅠㅠㅠ 게이밍 노트북으로 바꾸든 깔려있는거 다 지우든 둘 중 하나는 해야 게임 할 수 있을듯...

일단 첫 번째 챕터만 해본 소감으로는 보는 그래픽에 비해 최적화가 너무 안 되어있고, 설정도 제대로 구현을 안 해놨고(마우스 감도나 그래픽 세부 설정 등), 이동속도도 너무 느리며, 영어 밖에 지원을 안 함. 영어가 약한 저로서는 무슨 내용인지는 몰라도 대충 어떤 얘기하는지 알겠는데, 그걸 일일이 다 들어야 되고, 또 상호작용 한 번 하면 캐릭터가 말한 마다니 씩 해서 그동안 다른 상호작용이 안 됨. 결론은 컴퓨터가 엄청 좋고, 천천히 걸어 다니면서 영어 듣기평가 하실 분들은 한 번쯤 해보시길 추천해 드립니다. 똥 컴에 한국인과 한국인 패시브를 가지고 있는 저로서는…

초반에는 조금 지루함.. 그리고 컨트롤? 시야 조작감?? 무튼 조금 불편했음.. ㅠㅠ 보통 마우스따라 화면이 쉭쉭 바뀌야 좀 편한디 이 게임은 마우스먼저가고 0.2초 반응을 늦게하면서 시야가 바뀜... 아마 그래픽이 너무 휙휙 바뀌면 깨지거나 그래서 그럴지도..라는 나의 작은 생각.... 그래픽은 너무 괜찮았음! 다른분들 리뷰보니 막 깨진다하시던데 초반에는 그러고 전 그닥 느끼지 못했습니다 ㅠㅠ 내용은 괜찮았던거 같아요 전부 해석하진 않고 거의 3번째? 2번째부터 대화 해석하면서 봤는데 막 해석안하구 대충 봐도 내용은 이해가는거 같아요! 마지막에 좀.. 많이…
게임 소개
There's a flash of white, and you suddenly find yourself in an unfamiliar place. A locked door keeps you enclosed in this small, empty room — well, empty all except for the table that sits in the dead center of the floor. Atop that table sits a rotary phone, completely unplugged. The walls and carpet are uncomfortably plain, the camera in the corner not helping with that discomfort. After a few moments, the unbearable silence is finally broken by the ringing of the rotary phone. There's nothing left for you to do but answer the call.
Summerland is a first-person narrative game developed by high school student Conner Rush. You take the role of an ill detective named Matthew as you relive the events of his recent past, all the while being questioned on your moral stances. With themes heavily revolving around ethical philosophy and the afterlife, Summerland is sure to be a unique gameplay experience.
Summerland includes:
- An engrossing and intriguing 1.5 - 2 hour single-player story written by Conner Rush (Welcome to the Dreamscape).
- Beautiful visuals and design.
- A stellar voice cast featuring Ryan Beard, Rhys David, and Natalie Van Sistine.
- A haunting soundtrack composed and performed by Auric Echoes.
Hi! This is Conner. I just wanted to say that this game was very much made as a way to deal with some really intense existential fears of death. This was just sort of my way of coping with those big ideas. Even if those fears or how personal this game is to me isn't very apparent in your playthrough, just know that it's a project that really meant a lot to me and made me feel a bit of comfort. I hope that if you struggle with these same fears, you'll find comfort in it as well.
All music in Summerland is original. You are more than welcome to record / stream your playthrough.
