이곳은 어디고 나는 왜 이곳을 걷는가 이 건물들은 왜 존재하는가? 무엇을 위해...? 달리기도 없고 앉기도 없고 점프도 없고... 투명벽으로 막힌곳은 많고.. 할 수 있는 건 정해진 길만 걷는 것.

짧은 시간이지만 그 속에서 우리에게 전달하고 싶은 내용이 잘 들어있습니다. 연필로 그린 듯한 그래픽이 기억에 남았습니다.

단순히 탑을 오르고, 다리를 건너고, 다시 오르는 단순한 게임입니다. 전반적인 스토리나 상황에 대한 설명은 없지만, 탑을 오르면서 발견 할 수 있는 12개의 메모가 주인공의 상황을 간략적으로 알려줍니다. 메모의 내용을 빌어 상황을 정리하면 '약 100년전(혹은 그 이상)부터 호수가 마를정도로 심각한 기후환경에 일부 사람들은 탑을 쌓고 점점 하늘로 올라가게 되었으며, 현재에 이르기 까지 계속해서 쌓아올리지만 지상의 먼지(구름)또한 계속해서 올라와 탑을 쌓는 것을 멈추지 못하는 상황' 이 전반적인 배경이며 주인공과 더불어 메모의 대부분 기록자는 후손들이 계속 이어서…

A thousand years ago it stopped raining, and all Earth's water evaporated into the clouds.
For over a hundred years people have been building towers to attempt to reach the clouds, so they can get the water they need to survive. And for over a hundred years they've failed. It's been a long time, but you're not done building yet.
Cloud Climber is a short narrative adventure game, that can be completed in 10-15 minutes. You must explore each tower, to uncover the full story of what happened, and find a way to the last tower to continue builder higher. The game is a casual thought provoking experience, that tells a unique and compelling story.
