2편이 출시된다길래 1편을 빠르게 클리어해봤습니다. 짧게 평하자면 코옵이 되는 플랫포머/액션 게임이라 단평을.. 매트로배니아의 오픈월드구성에 구간마다 챌린지를 클리어하는 식으로 만들어져있습니다. 분위기는 애니메이션 코코에 나오는 멕시코 죽의자들의 밤/축제 같은 분위기 입니다. 단점으로는 메트로배니아 특유의 탐험느낌을 받을 수 없었습니다. 말이 메트로배니아지 스토리라인은 거의 선형구조라서 메트로배니아의 장점을 살리지 못했다 생각합니다. 스킬을 얻으면 못갔던 새로운방향을 탐험하는 느낌이 없이 내비게이션만 따라가기만하면 클리어되니 차라리 내비게이션을 없애는게 나았을수도…

플레이 해본지는 좀 오래됬지만, 험블에서 무료로 풀린 기념으로 이제와서 이 게임에 대한 리뷰를 한번적어보자면, 남미 루차도르의 소울이 느껴지는 메트로배니아 플랫포머 액션의 걸작. 타격-잡기-타격으로 끊임없이 이어지는 콤보시스템의 타격감이 정말 재미있다. 멕시코 스타일의 흥겨운 OST는 덤. 정도로 요약 가능하겠다. 가끔가다 난이도 어렵고 조작 불편하다는 사람이 있는데, 그건 뭐 개인차가 있는 부분이니.... (참고로 나는 별로 불편한걸 못 느꼈다) 빠르게 달리면 5,6시간안에 도전과제 100%달성이 가능하긴 한데, 그건 골드에디션을 한번 해봤다는 전제 하에…

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is a Metroidvania-style action-platformer set in a magical world inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore. The game features melee combat, parallel dimensions and same-screen co-op. The original Guacamelee! received wide critical acclaim and was a finalist for both IndieCade and the Independent Games Festival's Excellence in Visual Art award.
