음... 그냥 옛날 게임임. 세일할때 샀다면 그냥 타임킬링 용으로 적당함 하지만 중독성이 좀 있어서 한 번 시작하면 끝을 보게 만들기 때문에 시험 직전 같은 때엔 플레이 안하는걸 추천 단점이라면 한 스테이지(?)마다 정해진 시간이 있어서 쉴틈없이 진행해야 된다는거. 그리고 왠만큼 영어에 자신이 있지않은 이상 미션 브리핑때 영어가 빠른 속도로 지나가기 때문에 스토리를 캐치할 타이밍이 없다는점 정도?

요약하면 뉴 미디어에서 유통하는 게임 답게 나사가 살짝 빠진 완성도를 보여주는 게임. 기간틱 아미는 일본의 동인 게임 서클 아스트로포트에서 만든 아케이드 게임이다. 메탈슬러그와 같은 런앤건 방식으로 진행된다. 정확히는 중장기병 발켄이나 레이오스 쪽에 가깝다. 게임으로서의 완성도는 나쁘지 않은 편에 속한다. 동인 게임으로서는 나무랄데 없지만, 게이머의 입장에서는 좀 애매한 느낌이다. 깎아내리기는 싫지만 후한 평가를 주기도 싫은.... 조금 욕심이 나는 게임이라고 해야겠다 동인 게임으로서는 굉장히 뛰어난 도트 그래픽을 보여주지만 게임 전문 회사의 도트 그래픽에 비하면…

ㅇ평가 : ★★★☆☆ ㅇ추천 : SFC 중장기병 발켄 팬이라면 해볼만함. 다만 발켄은 스토리 보는 재미가 있는데, 이 겜은 그쪽으로는 볼만한게 없음. 50%이상 할인일때 구매하는 걸 추천함

그렇게 대단한 무언가를 가지고 있을 정도는 아니지만,8~90년대 시절 게임 분위기를 다시 느껴보고 싶은 분들에게 적당 합니다. 조금 어려운 점과 메카닉의 동작이 기계적으로 느린 편에 속한다는 것이 미묘하게 아깝습니다. 조금 더 빠르고 키 배치를 약간 더 적절하게 조합한다던가스테이지 클리어 마다 무장을 교체할 수 있었다면... 선택한 무장을 바꿀 수 없다는 점과 여러번 플레이를 해도 뭔가 더 추가되는 점이 없다는 게 아쉽군요.
