비주얼이든 사운드든 8-비트 감성의 게임. 그러면서도 현실을 상기시켜주면서 너는 게임을 하고 있다는 것을 몇 번이나 상기시키는 그런 연출이 있다. 이외에도 전반적인 주제와 분위기랑 연관해서 연출이 소름돋는 부분이 몇가지 있다. 포니가 엔딩포인트를 다다랐을 때 어떻게 되는지 퀴즈를 통해 알게 된다거나 포니로서 1인칭으로 달릴 때 어떤 느낌인지, 등. 창의적인 요소를 넣었다. 키이스케이프 방탈출 테마 중에서 "For Free"라는 테마를 했다가 비슷한 느낌의 게임을 찾다가 Pony Island를 하게 되었는데 살짝 비슷한 감성인 것 같다. 분명 다른 결이 있지만.…

게임 소개
Pony Island is a suspense puzzle game in disguise. You are in limbo, trapped in a malevolent and malfunctioning arcade machine devised by the devil himself. The devil detests having his puzzles solved and poor programming exposed; you will need to think outside the box to proceed and you will be insulted when you do.
This game is about as indie as it gets.
