3명의 청소년들이 여름 교회 수련회에서 악마를 퇴치하는 이야기 내향적이면서 누구에게나 친절하게 대하는 Venus, 사교적이면서 다른 사람들과 원만한 인간관계를 유지하려 하는 Jupiter, 그리고 본인의 페이스대로 행동하면서 말 할건 대놓고 말하는 Neptune, 이렇게 세 명의 친구들이 하루 동안 시간을 보내면서 새벽에 들이닥치는 악마를 물리치려고 하는 이야기이다. 사실 게임 설명을 안 보고 바로 게임을 실행한지라 중반부까지만 하면서 그냥 일상물 장르의 스토리일 거라고 생각했는데, 후반부에 가서 갑작스레 초현실적 / 심리적 공포 요소가 치고 들어온지라 좀 당황을…

퀴어 게임 세일하는 데에 있길래 사봤는데 참 잘한 선택이었음. 한패가 없는 게 너무 아쉽지만 영어가 그렇게 어렵지는 않아서 대충 이해하면서 플레이함. 혹시 저처럼 영어가 완벽히 안되거나 스토리를 이해 못 하겠다 하시는 분은 포럼에서 해석 찾아보시길 권합니다. 트루 엔딩까지 꼭 보시길

*비주얼노벨 - 이 제작진들의 후속작인 <Heaven Will Be Mine>이 GL겜이라서 사기 전에 어떤 겜을 만들었나 궁금해서 해봤음. 글, 그림 작가들 여자임. - 스토리는 진정한 자아에 관한 거 같음. 개인적인 문제지만 문장이 너무 안 읽혀서 게임을 대체로 이해하지 못함. - 진행방식이나 캐릭터 빌딩은 괜찮다고 생각하지만 진엔딩 결말은 잘 이해가 안 돼서 토론 게시판에서 해석찾아봄. - BGM 종류가 적은 건 인디게임이니까 감안 가능함. 근데 볼륨이 너무 커서 시작할 때 30-40정도로 맞추는 걸 추천함. - 할인할 때, 한패 나왔을 때 하는 게 나음.

It’s about missing your Sailor Moon VHS tapes. It’s about how being irresponsible is contagious. It’s about knowing that in a group of three, two of you will be closer than the other.
And it’s about being weird and queer and wrong and hoping against hope no one will find out when the actual, literal devil comes for you.
Pick Your One True Pairing
WE KNOW THE DEVIL truly has no one protagonist; but someone will always be left out. It’s up to you to decide who that is. Instead of choosing a partner, you follow pairs of characters as they learn about themselves and wait for the devil to appear.Will Venus and Neptune stop hating themselves long enough to be friends? Will Jupiter finally tell Neptune what’s been on her mind? Will Venus and Jupiter make it to morning as the only good kids left alive?
