자유로워질수록 뒤에서는 고독이 쫓아온다. 우리는 그 고독을 희망으로 떨쳐 내고, 우리가 아직 모르는 아름다운 것들을 향해 앞으로 나아간다. 약 30~40분의 플레이 타임에 희망과 인본주의를 가득 담아낸 게임. 단조롭지만, 기분 좋다.

게임같지도 않은 게임에 난 비추천을 줄 수 없었다. 이건 무료게임이기 때문이다. 그리고 게임을 클리어하기 위한 조작이 필요없다. 이동하고 대화하기가 전부이며 길찾기도 없다. 눈앞에 대상이 있고 대화하기가 전부이다. 유투브 영상으로 만들었어도 무관할 정도로 게임의 요소가 없다. 그럼에도 난 부정적 평가를 할 수가 없다. 왜냐하면 무료이기 때문이다. 심지어 악의적으로 플레이어를 고통주려는 것도 없다. 이 게임의 존재이유는 메세지 전달이다. 어떤 내용인지 알아보자. 그저 우주에 표류되어 질식하기 20분 전인 주인공이 있다. 그리고 의식이 희미해져가면서 보이져 1호나…

게임 소개

Control, I'm Not Coming Back is a short and emotional narrative game about an astronaut drifting through the vastness of space, searching for a reason to keep going while struggling with the feeling that there may be no way back home. Inspired by the Hopecore aesthetic, the game explores despair, friendship and how we are able to move forward even in the deepest void of the cosmos.

A Hopecore-Inspired Storyline

After an accident leaves a young space cadet drifting alone in the void, his journey becomes an introspective and abstract encounter with the historic Voyager 1 probe, forming a bond that reflects humanity’s need to keep reaching towards new horizons.
